In 2003, Three Gorges nengshida electric Limited by Share Ltd and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University developed the second generation products of ---IAEC-2000 intelligent adaptive excitation excitation device. In the same year, the excitation system of IAEC-2000 excitation regulator +STR-1600RG heat pipe power cabinet was put into operation on the #19 machine, which created the history of the application of heat pipe power cabinet in large generator set excitation.
In 2010, the STR-2500RG heat pipe power cabinet was tested in ABB, Switzerland, and the long-term current value reached 2576A.
In 2012, the IAEC-2000 excitation regulator +STR-2500RG heat pipe power cabinet was put into operation on the 700MW unit of the Three Gorges power plant.
In 2013, Three Gorges nengshida electric Limited by Share Ltd based on optical fiber distributed control system IAEC6000 excitation system of large units of independent research and development for the first time in operation, and has been put into application in the large unit of Gezhouba Dam power plant, power plant and so on huangjinping. The same period has also developed a universal control platform based on (Programmable Automation Controller), for medium and small units of networked excitation IAEC4000 and IAEC1000 excitation system, the formation of a full range of exciting products are covered by large, medium and small units, to the present has been successfully put into operation nearly 100 sets.
